White Paper Review Process – what you need to know

The African Arts Institute has been monitoring closely the White Paper review process, from meetings at Parliament, attending Portfolio Committee Meetings and requesting feedback. AFAI received the long awaited White Paper Policy Position Paper today (25 November). Read it and send your comments directly to the DAC to have your say. See below:

1.    White paper sector Indaba - 26 -27 November 2015.

READ THE DAC BLOG HERE. 

2.    Sub Sector consultations * - first 2 weeks of December 2015

3.    Consolidation of oral and written submissions - last 2 weeks of December 2015

4.    Consideration & integration of evaluation findings recommendations and policy gaps

5.    Finalisation of the Revised White Paper - February 2016

6.    Tabling at Cabinet subcommittees and Cabinet itself - March 2016

7.    Presentation at Portfolio and Select Committees – March/April 2016

8.    Public hearings /consultations by Portfolio and Select Committees – as per Committees’ programmes
