AFAI's cultural help desk for African artists living in South Africa was first established with the launch of the Diaspora Project in May 2010.
The cultural help desk for African artists living in South Africa aims to advise and assist artists in accessing resources and infrastructure, obtaining legal documentation where necessary, distributing their work, travelling around the country and the continent, etc.
